My parents came to visit me in Japan for the first time ever in 2017 so we decided to do something special. Since it was November which is when the leaves start changing color we booked a really nice Ryokan close to Mt. Fuji which had a huge garden that you could stroll around in between soaks in the hot springs.

The river that runs through the grounds was spectacular and I feel I could look at it forever.
