Did you ever go and look for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when you were a child? I did with my friends but it is funny how fast we realized we would never get to the end and even if we did there probably wasn’t any gold….

So instead I started dreaming of cities in the clouds. Somewhere over the rainbow is a very beautiful song by Judy Garland which she sings in the classic movie Wizard of Oz. As a child I often dreamed myself away into these fantasy lands both through reading books and through just letting my mind float away.

你小时候曾到过彩虹的尽头去寻找那罐金子吗？我和我的朋友们尝试过，但有趣的是我们意识到我们永远也不会走到彩虹尽头，即使我们这样做，彩虹的那头可能也没有金子……

所以我开始幻想一种漂浮在空中的天空之城。《彩虹之上的某个地方》是朱迪·加兰的一首非常优美的歌，她曾在经典电影《绿野仙踪》中演唱过这首歌。小的时候，我时而在读到的故事中，或自己无意间发呆，变幻想自己进入一个梦幻世界。而这幅画就是我幻想出来的空中之城上的彩虹的样子。
